Your team doesn't hate Excel
They hate that spreadsheet
The one everyone avoids.
The one nobody wants to edit.
The one held together with copied formulas, hidden tabs, and hope.I help businesses stop wasting hours every week on spreadsheets that should have been fixed years ago.

Sound familiar?
Every office has that spreadsheet...
The one that only one employee understands.
The report that takes four hours every Friday.
The quote template everyone is afraid to edit.
The tracker that somehow breaks every month.
The file with six versions named FINALv12REAL_FINAL.xlsx.
If your team has started saying "Just ask Steve"... you've already outgrown your spreadsheet.
What I Actually Do
✔ rebuild broken workbooks
✔ automate repetitive tasks
✔ eliminate copy-and-paste work
✔ protect formulas from accidental edits
✔ make reports update themselves
✔ make complicated files easy enough that someone else can finally use them
When I'm done...
your spreadsheet should save time instead of costing it.

No new software. No expensive platforms. Just a spreadsheet that finally works.
Here's How This Works

Show Me The Mess
If it's become "Steve's spreadsheet," we should talk.
We'll review the file together.
I'll find what's slowing everyone down.
You'll get a roadmap before spending a dollar.

I Fix It
Not with duct tape.
I rebuild the spreadsheet from the inside out.
Repetitive work gets automated.
Formulas get cleaned up.
Reports become easier to update.

Get Your Time Back
Your spreadsheet shouldn't be your full-time job.
Your team gets a system that's faster, simpler, and much harder to break.
I'll walk your team through everything, answer questions, and make sure you're confident using it.
If only one person knows how your spreadsheet works, you don't have a spreadsheet... you have a liability.
Stop Fighting Your Spreadsheet
Let's fix the one everyone complains about.
All files are handled confidentially and used strictly for review and improvement.
Sensitive data is anonymized during rebuild.

Who You'll Work With
Hey, I'm MAK! I didn't start FixThatSheet because I love spreadsheets.
I started it because I got tired of watching smart people waste hours every week fighting tools that were supposed to make their jobs easier. Over the last several years, I've rebuilt quoting systems, project trackers, dashboards, reporting tools, and operational workbooks inside a mission-critical engineering firm.I realized most businesses don't need another software subscription.
They just need someone to finally fix the spreadsheet everyone complains about.

Weekly Sales Tracker Rebuild
This case study shows what a typical FixThatSheet rebuild project looks like.
Sample data was used to protect privacy.
Small teams often run critical tasks and operations inside Excel, making accuracy a non-negotiable.But as files grow...formulas break, reporting time increases, and small changes cause big problems.
The Situation
Client Profile
8-person consulting team
Did not want to adopt a CRM or introduce new software
Relied on Excel to track:
Deals
Revenue
Rep Performance
Weekly Reporting
Primary Friction
2-3 hours of manual reporting every week
Summary tables and charts built from fragile formulas
Total formulas broke when rows were edited (add/delete)
Duplicated calculations across sheets (manual errors)
Inconsistent reporting between sales reps
"We manually copy data into a summary tab every Friday. Formulas keep breaking when someone edits rows."

What Was Submitted
The client uploaded:
Their existing Weekly Sales Tracker (.xlsx)
A short explanation of their issues
Their desired outcome
Goal: Reduce manual reporting and stabilize the workload
The Rebuild
After the audit, the workbook was rebuilt with a clear system and structure:

Key Improvements:
Converting raw data ranges into structured Excel tables
Simplifying formulas so totals update automatically
Eliminating duplicate calculations across sheets
Automating summary metrics and dashboards
Adding validation rules for consistent data entry
Protecting formula columns to prevent breakage
The Fixed Sheet
Central Deal Tracking
Primary deal data is entered once and powers all reporting.

Hiding all grey columns allows the team to see exactly what needs input.

Structured Client Directory
Client data is maintained in one place to prevent duplicate entry and mismatches

Sales Team Performance
Rep targets, commission rates, and performance metrics are centralized and calculated automatically.

System Configuration
Reference tables power dropdowns, stage rules, and consistent data entry across the workbook.

Automated Performance Dashboard
Leadership can review performance instantly without rebuilding reports.

Outcome:
Before
2-3 hours of weekly reporting
Manual summary building
Formulas frequently breaking
Inconsistent totals
After
20-30 minutes weekly update
Revenue summaries fully automated
Stable formulas protected from accidental edits
Clear reporting for leadership
