Terms of Service

Overview

FixThatSheet provides spreadsheet review, optimization, automation, and rebuild services for small teams using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.By submitting a form, uploading a file, booking a call, or approving work, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Scope of Work

All projects begin with a written proposal outlining:

  • Identified issues

  • Recommended improvements

  • Project scope

  • Estimated timeline

  • Total cost

Work is limited to the scope defined in the approved proposal.
Additional work or revisions beyond scope may require a new agreement.

Payment Terms

Projects under $1,200 require full payment before work begins.
Projects $1,200 and above require:

  • 50% upfront before work begins

  • 50% upon final delivery and implementation

Work begins once payment is received.
Invoices are due within the time frame stated on the invoice.
Late payments may delay delivery.

Refund Policy

Because services are custom and project-based:

  • Payments are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Deposits secure project time and are non-refundable

  • If a project is cancelled before work begins, payment will be refunded less any processing fees.

FixThatSheet is committed to delivering work as scoped. If concerns arise, they will be addressed within the included rounds of revisions.

Revisions

Each project includes two rounds of revisions unless otherwise stated in writing.Revisions apply to agreed scope items and do not include new features, structural expansions, or additional automation beyond the approved proposal.

Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about their current system and how it is used

  • Supply required files and context

  • Communicate clearly about goals and constraints

FixThatSheet is not responsible for issues resulting from post-delivery edits, structural changes, or misuse of delivered files.

Intellectual Property

Upon final payment, the client owns the delivered files.FixThatSheet retains the right to reuse any underlying structures, frameworks, and non-confidential components for future projects.No client data will ever be reused or distributed.

Limitation of Liability

FixThatSheet provides structural improvements and automation based on information provided.While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and reliability, FixThatSheet is not liable for:

  • Business losses

  • Data loss

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Errors resulting from misuse or modification after delivery

Privacy Policy

Information Collected

FixThatSheet collects:

  • Name

  • Email addresses

  • Company name

  • Role/title (if provided)

  • Project details via submitted forms or via review call

  • Uploaded sheet files

This information is used solely for evaluating and delivering contracted services.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to:

  • Respond to inquiries

  • Review spreadsheet systems

  • Prepare proposals

  • Deliver contracted services

Information is never sold or shared with third parties.

File Handling & Confidentiality

  • All files are handled confidentially and used strictly for review and improvement.

  • Sensitive data is anonymized during rebuild when necessary.

  • Files are never shared externally.

  • Files may be deleted after project completion if requested by the client.

Data Storage

Files and communications may be stored securely for project reference and recordkeeping.Clients may request file deletion at any time after project completion.

Third-Party Tools

FixThatSheet may use secure third-party tools for:

  • Payment processing

  • Scheduling

  • Form collection

These providers have their own privacy policies and can be provided at client request.
